Purchases

Please note that the Hyena Cart E-commerce system is a commitment based system. It is not a traditional shopping cart. Clicking the "buy" button indicates a commitment to buy, and entering in a lottery or bidding on an auction indicates intent to pay the final price. If you purchase an item without intending to, please contact me immediately so that I can reverse the transaction. Otherwise, payment is expected at the time of purchase. Items will be restocked if payment is not accepted within 2 hours. Any overpayment you may make will be refunded to you promptly. This allows us to keep Hyena Cart working smoothly as it was intended. Please note that you may have your account blocked for non-payment. If you attempt a purchase and find that you are unable to make it, please contact me at kybabyknits@gmail.com and I will see what I can do about resolving the situation.

Return Policy

Hand Knits: Unworn, unwashed instock knits may be returned by the original purchaser within 30 days of the purchase for a full refund (less shipping). 

Custom knitted items may only be refunded if there is a defect with the item.  I will send a photo of your item for approval before shipping.
 
Hand Dyed Yarns: May be returned for a full refund from the original purchaser within 30 days of purchase.

Refunds will take up to 2 weeks to be processed.

Forms of payment

All prices are in US dollars. I accept postal money orders & all forms paypal. E-checks must clear with my bank prior to shipping your order. I will only ship to the address on the paypal receipt, and it must be a confirmed address. I require a non-refundable deposit at the time of checkout  and the remaining balance is due before I begin knitting. Please allow 2-6 weeks for completion of custom orders unless otherwise noted. Most items can be completed in the 2 week time frame.  If I must wait for yarn ordered by me, or sent in by you the 6 week time frame may apply.

Customer Service

I answer emails within 24 hours, although I am normally able to answer them within a few hours. If you have not heard back from within this time frame, please feel free to email me again. 

My #1 goal is for all of my customers to be 100% satisfied with the products they purchase from me.  That is why I offer a 30 day return policy on my yarns and spinning fibers. 

Shipping

All Family Roots yarns and spinning fibers are shipped free of charge within the US, Canada, and Mexico.  If you live outside of these countries additional charges may apply depending on current postal rates.  I ship First Class or Priority mail.  Large orders such as Co-op and wholesale orders will be shipped through UPS.
